Description

Valeria Obertas, known on her paintings as Valery, is a 24-year old artists, born in Kherson, Ukraine, and currently living in Bicester, UK.  She graduated from Art University in Kherson in 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art. Her main occupation in Ukraine was as a makeup artist, however, since the war forced her to move to the UK, she realised that art is a powerful thing that can help her to increase attention to the war. She has created a unique series of paintings which capture wonderful landscapes from her home region, sadly areas which are now under russian occupation. Outside of her day job as a cashier, she not only creates beautiful paintings – she has also begun hand painting clothing – and has found joy in this new area of artistic expression.

Valeria’s works are all Oil on Canvas, sized 23.4×16.5 inches (59.4×41.9 cm), and at an asking price of £400.  The works are:
