Description

Volodymyr Sakhnik is a Ukrainian artist currently living near Didcot, UK. He says: “I have a c3-c5 neck injury, so my fingers and hands don’t work well, but it doesn’t stop me from painting. I develop my own style and vision in my paintings. It’s a combination of pop art sensibilities and pointillism. I mostly use one colour scheme. I am cheerful, kind, open to communication, and despite certain obstacles in my life, I am moving towards my goal.

Volodymyr paints in his own self-developed style – a hybrid of pop-art inspiration and pointillism, using acrylic on watercolour paper.  His works are as follows:
1) ‘Kiss’, 75×55 cm, £630.  2) ‘Love’, 60×45 cm, £500.  3) ‘A Flower Girl’, 50×40 cm, £370.  4) ‘Freedom’, 50×40 cm, £290.  5) ‘Marilyn Monroe’, 50×40 cm, £300.  6) ‘The Dreams’, 60×45 cm, £290.  7) ‘Portrait of Elizabeth II’, 60×45 cm, £300. 8) ‘Portrait of Hatiko’, 50×70 cm, £500.  9) ‘Ukrainian Amazon’, 75×55 cm, £790.  10) ‘Kozak’, 35×65 cm, £500.  11) ‘Ukraine’, 75×55 cm, £690.
